Combine table concept and model in Unreal 5

This fusion table was designed and modeled for our NoRail project, a post-apocalyptic sci-fi roguelike survival game.

Due to production constraints, I handled both the concept and 3D execution of this asset. The intention was to create a believable in-world crafting station that visually communicates its gameplay function.

In the game, this station allows players to combine weapon components and fabricate new equipment. The design emphasizes modular construction, industrial materials, and subtle environmental wear to reflect a harsh survival setting while maintaining a clean sci-fi structure language.

For this piece, I adopted a more reference-driven modeling approach. Leveraging Plasticity’s streamlined workflow allowed design iteration and hard-surface modeling to happen simultaneously, making the form development process more efficient and grounded in practical structure
